  • Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our shortcode or phone number. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
  • Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies based on your engagement.

4. Third-Party Sharing & Privacy Protection

Strict SMS Privacy Safeguard: Tree of Life Ministries does not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or personal information collected through our SMS programs to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

These SMS Terms of Service govern the text messaging programs provided by Tree of Life Ministries (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting into our SMS program, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

Tree of Life Ministries offers an SMS messaging service to keep our community informed. By opting in, you may receive text messages including, but not limited to, church updates, event reminders, community alerts, and prayer requests.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on events and your level of engagement, but you can expect to receive up to 6 messages per month.

3. Pricing and Charges

Message and data rates may apply. Tree of Life Ministries does not charge a fee for this text messaging service; however, you are responsible for any and all text messaging charges, data rates, and fees imposed by your mobile service provider. Please consult your mobile service carrier’s pricing plan to determine the charges for browsing data and sending and receiving text messages.

4. How to Opt-Out (Cancellation)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. To opt-out, text the word STOP to the number sending the message.

After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you one final SMS message to confirm that you have been successfully unsubscribed. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to join again, you can sign up as you did the first time, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

6. Carrier Liability

Mobile carriers (such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, etc.) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The delivery of text messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider/network operator.
